Honestly, I think all a training bra does is get you used to wearing one.
The most important thing about a bra is to get the right size, the second thing is to find one you like... whether you want something plain, something cute, something really feminine or something sexy... that only matters to you (well, maybe a bit to anyone you might be showing it to as well, but then who *those* people are is going to be up to you as well.)

Are you wearing one cause you need support or are you wearing one cause you think you are suppose to.?
Maybe you have the wrong size. There are stores for just bra's were you can get your real size and they will find you a bra that really fits you.
You might try different kinds. Something without under wire or something underwire. Try and figure out what about the bra you do not like and go with that to find one you do.

heck I don't know- I'm straight and have a "large chest" I used to just wear regular bras, then went to sports bras- and sometimes I don't wear any bra *L* I get to do that now since I am older and highly opinionated and will tell people where to get off if they say something about my chest..as if it is any of their biz..because, lets face it- sometimes it feels like you're wearing a harness *LOL* anyways- the most comfy ones I ever wore were those playtex full figured bras with the extra padding in the shoulders- but I like underwires as well- whatever you feel comfortable wearing, try different ones until you find one you like.

Go to Goodwill or any other thrift type store. Then you can try on alot of different type and styles without spending alot of money first. Size is important. Once you find the right size then you can try on different types. Some don't like the silky, synthetic kind only the cotton. These are harder to find, but catch the sweat better. I personally don't like under wires, they pinch if you have any amount of overweight. You will just have to experiment to find what you like and is comfortable. Good luck.

Just like everything else, it takes quite a while to develop a preference. I'd start with soft fabrics, and no underwires, and then after you're fairly used to that, maybe try an underwire. Most women I know who wear underwire can't stand to not wear underwires. Try a variety of brands, and go to a good store where they will measure you to be sure you're wearing the right size. most of us aren't, according to oprah anyway.
