Unfortunately, most of us have the tendancy to judge. I would hope that I would learn why a person was using drugs before I
made a judgement.

For example, if the drugs are being used to relax and the person is harming no one (including the self), I would be less concerned than if the person was using drugs to escape life and the reponsibilities that come with it, or if using drugs caused a person to become violent.

Not always. It depends on the drugs involved, the degree of which the person used drugs, if they committed any crimes in order to get drugs. I would not judge the character of somebody who smoked a joint or did some LSD, but I would really be suspicious of a person who did crystal met or heroin.

We have a lot of meth addicts in this area and I would classify most of them as low-lifes because they cost taxpayers millions of dollars a year and contribute nothing. I applaud former meth addicts who are making an effort to be productive citizens. I applaud those who are smart enough to stay away from drugs and feel sorry for those who feel there is no better way.

Yes on the basis of weakness. I think it is weak to succumb to false reality's instead of being straight and sober and living your life. Weak because they bowed to peer pressure. I also believe that some people have addictive personalities and where one thing stops another starts for them, they have low self control.

I think that people who've lived a checkered life have more interesting stories and can relate to things of levels that straight edge people never will.
