Yes me! I had an area under trees that was always getting mossy. I bought some Good Quality Astroturf on the net. It was about £200 6 years ago. Level off, lay sand and lay the turf. I had decking around mine.

Hysterical thing was, my neighbours think I am nuts cos I hoover it! (havent told em)!

Yes. It is starting to be used in desert climates and can even be a selling feature. Artificial lawns still require watering if you can believe it; not to try and grow weeds but to wash the dust off/through.

I have seen this near Canary Whalf in London, it looks fabulous and to touch if feels ok But if you have a large area it will cost a fortune and you wouldn't want to walk on it in bare feet as it may be a bit hard on your tootsie toes unless you get the 'right' turf

my neighbour has it and it looks good from a distance but very false near to hand, there are lots of little bumps where weeds and ants have tried to break through

wouldn't your neighbors realize that you never mow your lawn?
