You've already come up with a good title for country. 'Having A Hard Time Gettin' Started' sounds pretty cool

i've noticed that many "hit" country songs have a gimmick. they play off a common cliche or turn a word around.
i typically write from the chorus outward. if you have a tune and idea in your head, just write down the main points and any specific phrases you have, then go back and try to connect the dots.
in country music you'll probably want to end the chorus with the name of the song.... i don't know why, but it must be a rule or something.

Keep a pocket book with you and simply write anything involves you. Words, terms, standards. Later you'll be able to return and switch the bits into titles, strains or anything. The major factor isn't to criticize what you write, while you first write it down, when you consider that your unconscious brain will quit supplying you with matters. I might propose getting a well dictionary, rhyming dictionary and glossary. Words are your gear and the extra you might have, the higher. Good success.

practice writing what you've experienced during the day, whenever you're going through something right down how you feel.
