Can you explain how the time of every country got it and also add the explanation ... by degrees?

gmt is the time the sun is at zenith at Greenwich England, 0 deg long. Each degree west or east is a couple minutes before or after. Time zones in countries are more political, though generally adhering to this.

GMT is Greenwich Mean Time...it is just the basis...

with variations along probably every time zone, they "should" be based on 360degrees/24hours, which is 15degrees per time zone.

if you look at the maps that have been created, you will see that the lines actually follow things like state(USA) and country lines. Some countries, states, etc. have done weird little thinks like being on the 1/2 hour...and split part of their state/country up...
