won 2 gold fish at the county fair... 4 years ago! they bred and produced one baby.. (well only one survived) so will they keep doing this? and how soon?

I don't know exactly how often they CAN breed, but mine bred once a year.

They started to breed at about 6 months old.

I kept my fish outdoors, so weather may have been a factor because the top of the "pond in a pot" would freeze over and I am sure that effected them in some way (they all lived though).

goldfish usually breed once or twice in the springtime and yes, your fish will probably breed again if all their needs are met
