This coming Sunday is my school's carnival. The aim of the carnival is to raise funds and they have called for volunteers to help out. I being a very charitable person volunteered. There were a few jobs so I checked with the person in charge if i could do any of those jobs. However, all the jobs were taken up. But there was only one job abd that was giving out balloons to the people that were coming for the carnival. I told the person in charge to give me awhile to think it through and he said ok.
So now what should I do? I know that the experience of giving out balloons is what i always wanted most but if I do that, my friends may make fun of me. I don't know what do do. Can you people help?

doesn't sound as bad as u are making it. And it's just giving out balloons. Don't worry about people who are trying to make fun bcuz they are not even helping so they would look like jacka*ses for laughing at a charity event.Charity is to help people and that is what u are doing. So do it. You are ur own person, if u let people control how u think-U'll never accomplish anything. Be a Man and Grow up

You said "aim of the carnival is to raise funds", so there is nothing wrong with giving out balloons.
If yr friends are not helping and they laigh at you, they are shallow. I won't think those helping in other areas will laugh at you cos they know the purpose of this carnival.
