No. no court in the U.S. will convict you. But you maybe arrested for animal endangerment for make the rabid dog consume a toxic substance

I don't think it's rude,I think it's a fantasy that most of us think about at some time in our life when in comes to mother in laws.But then you realise that even if our fantasies came true,they would still haunt you after death any way ,so we just learn to get along with them as best we can.
