They opened up for Foghat at my first concert in 1978. I have an old album but am looking to replace with a CD.

I have not heard or seen the group, but I do know they recorded 4 studio albums they are : Starz, Violation, Attention Shoppers and Colesium Rock. Their music combined pop melodies with hard rock.
Many of the Eighties most successful bands were influenced by Starz, from Cinderella and Poison to Bon Jovi and Mötley Crüe.
I would of loved to see Starz live, sounds like my type of music.

I don't know of Starz, but there was a group from the late 70's/early 80's called Stars on 45. They mixed older music like the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Abba and the Supremes.
