Hollywood should remake the original Star Trek TV series.
Not next generation era but the original TV series era.
Use the same set or exact look alike. The show can be about another starship that looks just like the enterprise but called the USS Hornet or something like that.
They can also name it the enterprise and have actors who look like the original cast to play the parts.
My pick for Doctor McCoy would be Gary Sinise (Lt. Dan Forrest Gump)

It would be cool but probably wouldn't go over very well with the majority of fans - they couldn't use the same sets because most if not all of them no longer exist.
I think it would be cool to go back and tell about their time in Starfleet Academy (kirk, Spock & Bones, that is) and show what they were like before we knew them.
My dad & I were talking about that idea and just to be silly suggested casting the Wiggles for the parts. In case you haven't heard of them they are an Austrailian children's band that is really pretty goofy. http://www.thewiggles.com

Greg = Spock
Jeff = Sulu
Murray = Scottie (I think) **would be funny to have an australian doing a scottish accent**

That would be interesting, though I don't think it would have enough appeal, but I love the idea. :D Don't really have any ideas for the other actors...hmmm...it would be great to watch!
