I'm not buying the Republican's whole vote for us or die strategy either. And the Democrats can't seem to offer anything more specfic either. It's like hold your nose and pick one.

This is just more talking points. I follow the news and I read books and Democrats have lots of plans. But not one of them will at this point argue that his or her plan is best.

The Dems are NOT in power. Anything they propose is met with TALKING POINT rhetoric.

I read a lot, and am a damn site more comfortable with even the abstract possibility of some sanity getting in the way of Emporer Shrub's stepping all over the Constitution.

This is the exception to the "Devil you See" Maxim. Nothing could do more harm to America, nothing has ever Done more harm to America than the policies of this Administration.

Dubya IS the WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY

Have any of you oh so opinionated Republibots ever actually seen the voting records of their representatives?

Know how your rep votes before you vote?

Or do you just turn on Fox News? And drink the Cool Aid?

I would rather go with the Republican strategy over the one I am mainly hearing from the Democrats. Sorry, but walking up to a terrorist and apologizing and patting them on the back just doesn't sound like a good idea to me. I honestly think some of these people coming up with this type of idea would actually send them congratulations cards for blowing anti-terrorists up.

Problem with the repubs more of the same policy is that it has stagnated and early may I add. I'm tempted to try the something different policy because we have seen what bush has done, and about 33% are thrilled. And the only reason for that is because he keeps rubbing 9/11 and gay marriage in our faces. Of course im worried because none of the parties seem to be offering anything.

Let me start in like this...I am a conservative Democrat...I voted for Bush... I am so sick of this current administration and regret giving him my vote...They (Republicans) have controlled The House, The senate, and The presidency for the last 6 years..The only thing I have to show for my vote is a Tsunami of corruption courtesy of this administration...I am ready to give anyone else a chance.... We need change...and maybe another political party and throw both of the bums out...right now..I want the Republicans bums out....They have Katrinaized the entire government...

Both senarios are terrifying, what you have to ask yourself is what is the best solution,The Republicans want to fight this war in Iraq and Afghanistan, this brings those sworn to kill Americans,to these countries to try and kill our armed forces.this is very bad. The Democrats Want to cut and run leaving our allies, and those Muslims brave enough to fight for their freedom,to fend for themselves and die at the hands of these terrorist, giving them a victory, and a base of operation & training to come here and kill our un-armed citizens, and all the blood our brave troops have shed will have been for nothing, and 911 will be a common site.

The one thing that voting democrats into congress is they would be in the majority. This would create checks and balance in the government. This is important because we haven't had any for 6 years and just look at the mess we are in. Somewhere there is a middle between cut and run, and stay the course and it could be a great solution to this problem. So I say vote democrat at least for congress and the senate and restore these checks and balance.

I got a tax cut that i want to keep. I have not been hit again since 9/11, so Pres.Bush must be doing something right in that "illegal" war-- sorry it is legal, the entire congress voted to approve it, as did the entire u.n. security council. Nazzi Polosi is a money grubbing MillionaireMercedesMarxist who should be in jail, not third in line to the presidency.. Ted Kennedy is the biggest BigOil "man" in govt, and the reason for the fuel price hikes we suffered the past two years. John (kerry) Heinze is a jigallo who got hundreds of thousands of good people slaughtered in VietNam by his lying testimony that convinced the democrat senate to pull financial support for VietNam.. Democrates vote as a unit to murder babies, to support abbarent sexual behavior, to call good evil and evil good.. Democrats are useless scum

Yes but you must vote in order to complain about the situation, though I'm not accusing you of not voting. I have come to the conclusion I must cover my back at all times, as people love to jump to conclusions on this site. Anyway, I'd rather have a strategy than no strategy at all, no matter how flawed it is. I'd love to hear a Dem's strategy on Iraq other than pull out, as it'd leave Iraq's unstable government to be overthrown by terrorists, leaving us to have to invade all over again

I wish there were another party!
This is the whole problem!
There needs to be a third party!
A party that isn't greedy, one we can trust!
But will that ever happen!!!!
No such luck!
