I have been burned twice by this woman, she has left the same job twice in the past 5 yrs. both times befor she leaves, she makes sure she drags me into the managers office with a list of complaints that stand without merit, we just let her spout off and be on her merry way,it's easier. This time the manager didnt give her any satisfaction and she complained to the state, the state dismissed her complaint, what I would like to know is how do you turn the other cheek, on someone you would like to throttle?

Romans 12:19-21
19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

selection one I ought to assert after examining some solutions of a few people - it incredibly is a private determination. some people like piercings, some do no longer. some people think of cheek piercings are superb, some do no longer. All could desire to admire those evaluations. Now coming to the question, it relies upon on the tissue on how painful it incredibly is or no longer. yet basically it incredibly is an quite very short discomfort - a injection is extra painful. the main severe element is to disinfect, considering the fact which you have many bacteria on your mouth and by way of smoking and ingesting it may infect. the 2d element is that the 1st rings you get set in is longer, so as that as quickly as the cheeks swell that the jewellery would not advance into the wound. After it swells off it is often somewhat uncomfortable having it to long, yet you get used to it. do no longer substitute the jewellery too early using fact the wound needs time to heal up from insice and interior it ought to tear open returned and infect. throughout the time of the piercing technique it may experience somewhat uncomfortable using fact the flesh is thick, yet there are worse piercings than that. in my view i think of those piercings are cool, yet you should think of that in case you ever be sure to take them out somewhat dimple will stay.

Do not allow her behavior to determine yours. Your integrity is not determined by her aggravations, and believe me, I do know how bad it can get- I had to live next to one of these for an entire year 24/7, & the laws to treat the matter all took time. Stay out of her line of fire (I know, nearly impossible with an irrational person), and keep your contacts professional and brief as possible. If you think she can do you any serious damage, consider contacting that same state agency or Union Rep or legal council or HR-anybody who can advise you as to what may be at stake here if she continues her vendetta. This may be as straightforward as knowing what & how to document, determining when it becomes harrasment, or exploring other possible options. The best thing you can do is to keep yourself well informed re. your rights and options. Just knowing that you have some choices can be amazingly helpful. If you consider going to get some counsel on the matter, ask re. the company reimbursement policy. Once it starts to cost them financially, especially if they have reason to think that you value your job, & are willing to seek legal help , they may find the motivation to be more proactive. If you go this way, make sure you know what your legal rights & options are, and approach with an attitude that you want to work with your employer, and not set yourself in opposition to them. More of a "How can we work together to solve this, up to & incliding legal backup if needed".Wishing you a good outcome, sooner than later..p.s. you may have some legit grounds for questioning the company rehiring her.

I think the other cheek is not the best strategy for this situation. You should engage an attorney to serve notice to her to stop slandering your name, or she will face charges in court that you will file against her.

Turning the other cheek is for minor infractions such as having your toe accidentally stepped on or other such petty nonsense. Don't indulge this woman's persecution complex by continually allowing her to think that you are a convenient target; you do her no favors by refusing to legitimately defend yourself.

A lot of times it is hard to even consider turning the other cheek to people like that. Even if it seems like it is an impossible thing to do, just know that you can, if you try hard enough, and that you can move on with your life.

I have had to grapple with a variety of sleazebags where I work. Typically when they are as bad as the one you have mentioned they are so totally screwed up in their lives that, as stated by a previous answerer, karma will do the dirty work. They must be miserable.

As long as your boss knows that she is without merit I would not worry. But you should keep a diary just in case, alwayes document with someone like this.

Its not as much acting as not acting. Don't get angry at her or even ask her why she is angry at you. Try to act kind to her (eg. be polite and offer to do things) but be careful because it is easy to turn that into self-righteousness. It is always a hard situation but I hope it works out for the best.
