Pro-Choice because
-Every women deserves the right to choose
-circumstance such as rape
-baby could be unhealthy
-mother might have a health issue that would cause her to lose her life if she delivered
-mother could be mentally ill
-alot of babies, alot of people on welfare (the cost of raising a kid vs. a persons average income vs. the number of people on welfare)

remember the difference between pro-choice and pro-abortion. people who are pro-choice don't believe that abortion should be used as a form of birthcontrol and it is not a procedure that should be taken lightly, grils getting 7 abortions because they can't remember to use a condom is not what pro-choice is about (i dont know if there is another side to this and if you will have to defend yourself, but this might be helpful)
In the case of rape, yes it is still your baby, but do you want a child associated with such a tragic experience?
If the woman does not want the baby is she going to be a good mother?
some, especially teens may have a grave fear of being dis-owned or kicked out if they come home pregnant, so they will find a way to rid of the child, at least if it is legal it will be safer.
hope this helps :)

1. It is ultimately a woman's choice.
2. It is not about abortion...it is about choices.
3. Sometimes rape happens.
4. Sometimes incest happens.
5. Pro-choice keeps abortions legal and safe.
6. Legally protects doctors that perform abortions.
7. It has been proven that when abortion is a legal choice, their numbers go down. (So do teen pregnancies!)
8. Sometimes there's no other option.
9. As a woman who has made a decision for an abortion, can you actually imagine a stranger (clergy/gov't?) coming in to your ob/gyn's office and saying you can't do this?
What about these?

I think the main staple of legal abortion is the concept that the body is something private, therefore it is not the business of the state to regulate it. So you should talk about what it would it mean if the state were able to regulate the body. Also, you are going to encounter people who will argue that a fetus is a person and therefore it has rights to. So you will have to bring out evidence stating the contrary... that the fetus is not alive until x-weeks (i think its 23 weeks). Hope this helps...

You might add that countries where abortion is legal have a higher standard of living and a lower rate of domestic violence.
Women who can control reproduction have more power and equality in society than in nations where pregnancy is compulsory.
Almost 96% of the inmates on death row were a result of unwanted pregnancies.
Adoption can be more psychologically traumatic to a woman than abortion.
Surgical abortion has a substantially lower death rate than chidlbirth.
This planet has too many people as it is, and there are lots of kids waiting for adoption. It's ridiculous to be forced to have one more because your birth control failed.

A majority of people want it - it was voted legal
If people lose this choice, what choice do they lose next?
If you can't trust me with a choice, how can you trust me with a child?
If you don't want one, don't have one - that is a choice too.
If it's made illegal, women will be forced into unhealthy places to have it done.
Even as a choice, it's not an easy one.
How many children have you adopted to prevent abortions?

What is a society really is trying to do when it wants to assert control over a woman's reproductive right to choose, but it doesn't want to provide the resources to raise the child?
Perhaps society wants control over women, not responsibility of the children.
By the way, why is that same society unwilling to seek control over men's reproductive organs?

fetus is a product of rape
the mother's health is at risk
fetus is a product of incest
mother is younger than 14-ish (I don't know what age under 18 would be old enough to have a baby)
