when is Karthika poornima or Vykunta Ekadasi???Pls tell me how to celebrate this festival???

Its December 04 Karthika Poornima this is for the people who belong to the tamil Orgin and not to anyother
Its December 31 Vykunta Ekadasi This to for the Tamil orgin and not to the other.
There will be some other day if U R not of Tamil Orgin

karthika poornima & vaikuntha ekadashi are different.

but before, karthika poornima , devprabodhini ekadashi or devuthi ekadashi comes .

devuthi ekadashi comes on coming 2nd nov. 2006 , thursday.
it's belief that Vishnu wakes up on that day, as He is a symbol for Sun & in monsoon, we cannot see the Sun. so in Ashadha comes Devpodhi Ekadashi which means bcoz of clouds we cannot see Sun & after four months in Karthik month, now we can see the Sun.
just keep the fast nothing else to do,
enlightens diya & simple routine pooja .
but somebody does Sandhya poojan on that day.
and then comes,

Karthik Poornima, on 6th Nov. 2006, Sunday.
this is also called Devdiwali
and on that day, people do Tulsi Vivah,
as tulsi is 'Vishnupriya'
just like our own daughter, people do marriage
of Tulsi with Shaligram, a symbol for Vishnu.
so u need not to keep the fast,
and tulsi pooja is important for that day .
