Vikings may have the best run defense, which is why I would have done what the Pats did......PASS!! Bad night for the Vikes? Naw.....bad night for Brad Johnson! Look for the next two opponents of the Vikes to pass the ball! Their next four opponents all have losing records but I would bet they lose two of those games because somebody is goin to eat up their secondary!

The vikings didn't have a chance against the patriots. Sure the Pats passed alot but when Maroney got the ball he hurt the Vikes. They are overrated. Just like the Bears and the Colts, when November is over all of you Patriot haters out there will be trying to pull your feet out of your mouths.

It's weird because at the begining of the year (and last year) their pass defense was much better than their run (infact at one point they were one of the top pass defenses this year). I don't understand what changed so much to allow this. Perhaps people first thought their run defense was like last year so they ran more, meaning less pass yards, which could make it look like they had good pass D --then they saw the run D was good and switched.

But the main problem, as stated, was that their LBs were getting totally mismatched against WRs. They needed more DBs in there --might not have won it, but it might have made it closer.

They better adjust to what the Pats did to their D. The NFL is a copycat league and you can bet the next several opponents will be looking at the Pats film. New England was matching up WRs on LBs on those short routes all night and it was no contest.

Vikings are just like the Saints. They are not ready to play the big boys from the AFC.

Yes, bad night. They've got the run defense but they really need to work on that pass defense. I knew they were going to lose on the Patriots first drive. They were giving Brady so much time, he could've had dinner back there.

For Shawn L- the officials did not give the PAts their Superbowl appearances- they earned everyone by being the BEST and they're about to do it again this year- sounds like sour grapes to me.
