There are three large philosophhical qualities. The TRUE, the GOOD and the BEAUTIFUL. These are distinct.
Overwhelmingly, when people say they want the "truth," they want "only those truths which are also good and beautiful." To pamper them and offer such a selection is, itself, the big lie.
But it isn't ALL a big lie -- Diogenes is out there with his lantern. There are honest men who don't lie -- but they are difficult to find. Their skill at hiding is good and beautiful, by the way.

This is the highest philosophical thought , my friend. What you have found out , just now, for yourself was told some 5000 years ago. You have only restated that.
You say you are JAD D, you say you are rich , an engineer , a father , a son, a friend, ... are not you so confused yourself/ How can you be so many things at the same time? You cannot be. This is the highest truth.
If you are NOT you then who are you? what do you believe in?
The truth is you are differnet from the physical you that you think you know.

I'm not sure I stand for anything, nor do I believe in much. I question pretty much everything I see and just get on with my life and try to enjoy it.
If you are looking for some big universal truth or all encompassing reason for living I think you are on to a looser. Just be happy with what you are doing, who you are and who you are with.

Speaking philosophically, if there is a BIG lie, there ought to be a BIG truth as well. You shouldn't stop half-way in your search - or is it re-search?

Great, now ill just toss out the cure for cancer and aids, being that they're all lies now........eternal life? hell why not, who needs it just a bunch of lies anyway right? why dont we just give up everything right now, save us all the time in the world. thanks a lot you just single handily killed the human desire to believe in anything.
