what is the best way to go about finding work before i actually go there? i'm not an a college graduate or anything

If I were in your situation Hawai'i would be the last place I'd think about moving. The cost of living is extremely exspensive, you should consider looking else where to find a job and save up until you feel that you are financially stable and can afford to live there.

Hawaii is a great place to visit, but not a great place to live if you don't have money. The cost of living is very high there. I lived there for 3 yrs. and it was very hard. Also, if you are not of asian descent it isn't easy to get a job. They seem to favor people of asian heritage over caucasions. You may have a better chance if you are well educated.

i don't think it's that good of an idea to move here if you don't have money evreything here is much more expensive here gas is $3.02 for regular traffic is horrible you will probably pay 750-1200 a month in rent each meal will run about 6-12 dollars if you eat out

i'm too lazy to google sites. best way is to search for cool temp international jobs or jus hawaii. pin point something that interests you then look into it. it's possible to find something online b4 you travel there. best of luck

Get your degree.
Find professional work there.
Hawaii has enough poor painters and baristas, I promise.
