This was my first time going over my friends house and shes my only friend so i havent been out to houses in a long time and i stayed from 3:30pm to 12:00am and her family was still awake but my mom said thats so embarrasing why didnt you call to come home and I said i didnt know they would be mad that i stayed there because its my first time in years and they didnt look mad what do you guys think if i stayed at your house that long would you be mad and cant wait to i leave

parents are pretty good at letting their children's friends know if they are overstaying their welcome. maybe it was your mother who was upset about having to pick you up anywhere at 12am.so maybe it is your mother feelings you should be concern about. but if you still feel uneasy about your friends parents and the impression they may have about you, go to your friend. if they are truly your friend, you would want this in the open so that the mistake wont happen again. if the parents did get a little bent about your visit then you would know and could make it right with them so that your next visit might be very pleasant. open and honest with friends is being just that a FRIEND

i personally wouldn't be mad but i would have asked if you just wanted to stay the night and told you to call your mom to make sure it was ok. next time just ask if your in the way or if you can help with anything that needs to be done around the house, that will make it easier for the family to accept your being there so late or so often.

i wouldn't be mad i think that it was ur decision to stay there and if her parents weren't mad then i would have stayed...and u havent been at a friends house in years...

I think if you were there too long, someone would have asked you to call your Mom to pick you up. I think you did ok...no problem. If you want to be sure...ask your friend.

I think that is fine. Don't worry about it. They would have said something if they wanted you to leave earlier.

No if they felt that you were there to long they should have said something to their child so that you would know.
