Yes, very true.
Also, 76% of all STD cases in Europe and North America can be traced directly back to Madonna. A 2002 survey concluded that 40% of men on the African continent had had some sort of short term sexual relationship with Madonna. In 1999, Madonna was convicted in absentia in Budapest, Hungary for sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled 8 year old boy. In 1997 Madonna was caught on a security camera in Port Huron, Michigan attempting to write her name on the front window of a jewelry store with feces she had smeared on her left breast.

It's not for me to judge anyone, but aren't celebrities "over-rated" in some way? If people can go goo-goo over a singer/entertainer, look at those who make real differences and improvements to others' lives. They are the ones we can learn from.
At least, Madonna has a great voice and she is still a talented singer no matter how her personal life may be. No one's perfect and sometimes, people do not remain the way they were before.

No. She's a celebrity, and as such, her private life is open to criticism and speculation that a normal person never has to endure. Hopefully her heart was in the right place when she set out to adopt that little African boy, but I can't help but wonder why she doesn't just donate a lot of money to benefit more than one poor child, or go and work there to help out. I'm afraid that the Angelinas and Madonnas of the world have found their next fashion accessory in third world children.

Maybe. But a lot of successful people are hated. Why? Because they step over people to become successful. Much like corporate America. Madonna is not only a performer, but a shrewed business woman. Very smart, but not always tactful about things. Musically, I like some of her latest work. Personally, I'm sure she would be a very high-maintenance acquaintance. :)
Cheers!!

oh, you so got that one right! Is she overated or what? She can't even sing that good. She has always had the diva personality thing going and I think people are tired of it, there are so many more singers out there that are really good and they don't have to have her attitude anymore because they have real talent. It was part of her act but it is old.

she used to be famous for being a performer, but slowly but surely, like so many other celebs, she is now famous for being famous. she has nothing spectacular in her career in years. so in answer to your question, yes, she is WAY overrated.
