Mine is on the back of the toilet. When it's on the dispenser it's just to tempting for little hands.

on the back of the toilet and on the dispenser. i use it too much and i usually run out of them before i know it. having extra an extra roll anywhere within reach works great for me.
as for lil hands, they play with rolls no matter where you put them anyway-- so i just use reinforcement on them: i reward good toilet behavior and withold rewards for bad behavior.

We never got a dispenser so its on the back of the toilet

All I can say is THANK YOU!!! It's high time this issue came out in the open. For way to long we've been afraid to ask this all important question. I for one am glad to see we can finally talk about.............how we manage our toilet paper. I'm proud to say I have some order in my life and as a result my T.P. roll goes on the dispenser where God intended it to be!!!! Not slung back behind me on the tank lid as if their was not a roller right there for it. How can you live like that? That's just a disaster waiting to happen and you know what I mean.......the paper falling into the bowl. What are you gonna' do then?

I have some on both......dispenser and toilet.
My children will yell at me for more when it runs out so... I just make sure it is stocked and within their reach. LOL
I once had a new puppy get into a sack with tp in it that I had left on the table. She tore the entire package of 6 double rolls into shreds, the house was in complete disarray. I then gave her the name quilted(it was Quilted Northern tp) and she lived up to her name as she grew to be very comfy with thick fur.
Anyway.................................
Let them play.... you could take the tp outside and let them tp moms car?

I keep some on the back of the toliet AND on the dispenser.
