develop your inner martha stewart.

realize that maintaining a household is a tough science and you can develop it into an art form.

think back to when you were a kid.

the best days ever were when you got home from school, got a hug from mom and smelled cookies baking. dinner was probably macaroni and cheese, and afterwards there was a bath and bedtime, climbing into freshly washed sheets.

once you can remember how good it was to be the recipient of all that loving energy, you will be able to more easily provide that work for the people YOU love.

have fun!

HOW TO BE A GOOD WIFE
Home Economics High School Text Book, 1954

Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal, on time. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospect of a good meal are part of the warm welcome needed.

Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so that you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your makeup, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people. Be a little gay and a little more interesting. His boring day may need a lift.

Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the home just before your husband arrives, gather up schoolbooks, toys, paper, etc. Then run a dust cloth over the tables. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift, too.

Prepare the children. Take a few minutes to wash the children's hands and faces (if they are small), comb their hair, and if necessary change their clothes. They are little treasures and he would like to see them playing the part.

Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer, dishwasher, or vacuum. Try to encourage the children to be quiet. Be happy to see him. Greet him with a warm smile and be glad he is home.

Some don'ts: Don't greet him with problems or complaints. Don't complain if he is late for dinner. Count this as minor compared with what he might have gone through that day. Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or suggest he lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him. Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soft, soothing and pleasant voice. Allow him to relax and unwind.

Listen to him. You may have a dozen things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first.

Make the evening his. Never complain if he does not take you out to dinner or to other places of entertainment. Instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure, his need to be home and relax.

I believe being a house wife is a job. This is how I achieved my gold star !

1. Always get up with your husband before he goes to work, make him a cup of tea/coffee and something to eat if he wants it. Make him sandwiches, etc to take to work.

2. Sit with him and have your cuppa and a nice chat before you kiss and wave him off for the day.

3. Complete all the normal daily jobs, such as washing, cleaning, ironing etc, before doing any extra jobs that you are able to do to lighten his load, such as decorating, grass cutting, car cleaning, etc.

4. Plan your evening meal and cook this from scratch, making sure it's healthy, tasty and exciting. Clean up all the cooking preparation mess.

5. Check your finances and make sure your house budget is all working to plan and make sure all bills are paid.

6. Always, always make sure you look good and touch your make-up about an hour before your husband is due home.

7. Watch for your husband coming home, flick the switch on the kettle so there's a nice warm drink awaiting his return. Always greet him with a kiss and a smile and sit and have a chat about your days.

8. Serve dinner, and clear the dirty dishes. Place his clothes for the next day on the bedroom radiator so they are nice and warm for him next morning.

9. Spend the evening relaxing together, always go to bed together, never have a television in the bedroom, keep that room special for loving and intimacy.

10. Always be sexually imaginative, all in all be a cook in the kitchen, a sl*t in the bedroom and a lady in company.

11. Use your intelligence and always be interesting. Make sure you spend plenty of time relaxing and enjoying each others company. Make him feel as if he's the most important person alive.

12.Never be a doormat and always try to have an opinion on important issues.

If you follow these tips you will, I promise have a wonderful and very satisfying marriage with a very contented husband.
One final thing make sure you feed him plenty of foods which stimulate the male sex hormones such as chillies. Always keep an element of surprise in your marriage such as gently waking him some mornings by kissing his penis or by butterfly kissing him all over.

All you have to do is keep your home clean and comfortable. This is something that really cant be taught you learn from experience and with time you will know just what has to be done and when without even the slighest hesitation. So dont stress yourself nobody is born as the perfect housewife everybody has to learn you will experience some bumps in the road but this will only make you better in the long run. Good luck I know that you will do just fine.

Take care of domestic responsibilities like child care, cooking, cleaning, laundry (after you determine how your partner should pitch in, too) and make sure you make time for your personal well-being. If you are a happy person, everyone in your home will be as well. Don't forget about your own needs. Take classes. Read. Have a hobby. Join a local group. Have fun, and the rest will go smoothly.

Find a balance,it's not the clean house that's most important.Love and harmony in the home is such a wonderful sight. My home looks so good when my wife and children are happy and excited.I"m not saying we live in a squallier, but if something is out of place I see the love and grab the dish soap.

keep his house clean , his laundry done , be happy when he's home . greet him with a welcome home kiss . keep his interest's in the mariage by asking what he would like to have for dinner . this might somund rude . but keep his interest up in bed. ask him if there is something he'd like you to try that is new or what ever . flirt with him in public . [don't be a dog in heat type flirt] . focus your attention on him when out in public . not other guy's . dress to atract his attention. not just the same old every day p.j. type clothes . complament him on the good job he's doing , let him know you care , and plan on waking up everyday to a loving man . give him a reason to look foreward to coming home after a long tiring day at work .be understanding and loving .

If you can find a copy of a book called "The sensuous woman" by " J " .................. read it. It's an oldie but a goodie, tells you how to not only please your man, but be a good housewife. some stuff may make you laugh because it was written by a "domestic goddess" back when women's lib and feminism were going strong, but there's enough good stuff in there to really help.

Organisation is the key. Firstly cooking: Learn to cook and make it fun. It is an methodical art not a science and it is individual.
housekeeping: keep a timetable of what you must do each day.
thirdly, being a wife is not about being a servant....get everyone to do their share....just make them do it under your supervisison.
do it gradually not in one day.
keep furniture easy to clean and reduce clutter...it just increases your workload and looks gaudy
