Try turning it on.... Oh, and you also might want to make sure the power cable is in correctly and press the POWER button.

Hee hee, thanks for the nostalgia. I have a very old TV (which I haven't watched in a while) that sometimes acts up, but always works if you give it a hearty slap on the side. I wouldn't recommend that for your TV, though. Is it possible that the brightness or contrast has been changed?

You never kick a tv, you thump the top of it a few times....that always works.

Your tuner maybe acting up or your tube. You may need a new set. Slap it on the top of the set. It may come back on. Don't kick it.

Well if it is still under warrenty I would get it fixed. Don't kick it though. that will make things worse.
