lol so i've always wondered the same thing...neigbours and home and away acting is shocking...sorta like the bold and the beautiful...doesn't look as realistic

I guess it is the same as soaps the world over - bad acting goes hand in hand with bad plots, bad characters and bad dialogue!

Most of the teenagers/young people aren't actually actors - just people who have expressed interest in acting and have won their auditions.
