Marriage is not based on luck...so seeing one another within a day of the wedding isn't going to change that. What makes a marriage is the work the couple puts into it....not the glimpse of each other they have 24 hours before the marriage.
Actually many rehearsals are done the night before the wedding....usually WITHIN those 24 hours. The same was with my rehearsal/wedding. And here I sit happily married over 6 years later.
