Hate to tell ya, but I've been on the pill for years... and that's how I got preggo...

Some say that the first 7 days you need a back up (like a condom) and some say for the first month... Regardless, I know what happened to me! Good luck!

You have to take them as directed or you can get pregnant. Some doctors want you to take them longer than that before you have unprotected sex.

Yes, its not at its full effectiveness. Not only that, but there is still a small chance of getting pregnant at anytime when you are using it.

yes you can the pill makes you more fertile your suppose to take them at same time every day and not miss get a test if you think u might be

your doc shouldve told you to use protection through your first pack of pills.they dont become effective until then.i wouldnt worry just yet but i would use protection until you finish the first one.
