No you do not need to get a lawyer. Go to your local Barnes and Noble... they will have books there that will have all the forms and will walk you step by step on how to get a divorce. Sometimes they will have a book plus a CD for your computer. It is much cheaper this way.

Depends on which state you are at. For most you have to file for divorce, you do not need a lawyer if there are no claims, butyou may need legal counsel.

I would suggest you see a lawyer to help you file after that you represent yourself.

I'm sory it didn't work, at leat you tried and it's not failing because of you that you never gave it time.

You see that say that the probability that the second marriage is going to fail is almost 85%, I would say of the marriage is not abusive in any way....gie it another thought try something else, counselling meeting with peers...girl it's your life.

Hi,
I can't really answer your question for you since what is right for one person may not be right for another.
However, I can give you a suggestion based on my own experiences and my suggestion to you would be for you to call your Local Lawyer Referrel Service and after you explain your circumstances to them, they can tell you exactly what to do or give you the name and number of a Lawyer around you who will give you legal advice for free...there is a time limit on this advice though so you may want to write down any questions that you may have before you actually see the lawyer.
I hope this information helps you. Good Luck!

I really don't know about the lawyer, but you'd at least have to go before a judge. Why don't you call a court clerk and find out.

I would go to your local library and speak to the reference librarian. There are books for "Do it yourself divorces" and it sounds like you may not need a lawyer since there are not marital assets. Start there, and then call the courthouse.

Call an attorney, one who gives a free consultation and he will advise you on what to do. Then you must get separation papers.
