In US, I kept hearing the health care cost going up while the drug companies and the health care providers are making ever increasing profits.
How to stop that ?

Only way to get Big Business to stop dictating or National Interest. Stop the $.

nation wide health coverage isn't that why in canada the doctors and other medical companies make less or we could just get nation wide health coverage for kids

No one has done it for oil corporations and no one will do it for pharmaceutical companies and health care. At least not with this administration.

For every dollar that goes towards the drug company or to your doctor, 11 dollars goes to your HMO to people who contribute nothing to care.
Also, much of your hospital healthcare dollar goes to pay for the care of illegal immigrants who simply come for treatment and skip on their bill.
Those are the sources of spiraling healthcare costs.
