You have to be a good friend. Never betray a confidence. Always lend an ear when someone needs you to listen. Never talk about them behind their backs to other people. And always tell them the truth (but in a nice way). Basically follow the golden rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. :) My momma taught me (drilled it into me actually) that.. :)

if you want a good and trust worthy friend you juz need to be very careful. try inpecting each n every person in your friend circle. see who is trying 2 get closer to you. who is helping in your trouble. hey best way is create sm situation and tell sm one whom u want to inspect, n teel that person nt to slip this thing to any one else. if that person does the same as u told then that is the right person for u. the person who can keep your secrets as it is is the true friend. thanx

Get involved with lots of activities. Join clubs at school and get active in afterschool activities and at church. The more people you know, the more friends you will have. Be friendly and smile. Volunteer to help others.

Most important---Be a good friend. By example, let others know you are available for friendship by listening rather than talking too much about oneself.
