most game companies have a media replacement policy. you pay a small replacement fee and send it along with your damaged media. my Grand Theft Auto UMD for my PSP got some kind of radial scratch on it..not sure how. i gave rockstar vague details and they replaced it for a small fee..much much much less than buying another copy.

microsoft has a stricter media replacement policy...and might even bring in issues like how long you've had the game and ask how it got damaged, they may not replace it if you somehow contributed to it's damage...that's the jist of what i pulled off thier website.

send it back to the company that made it and maybe they'll send you a new one for free.
