I would be like "i told you to marry the other guy.........."

i would tell her that if he comes back to not take him back dump him. cuz what is she gonna do if they have kids and she's like at the hospital... he is likely not even to show up for the birth! so unreliable husbands are bad! thats not luv that just stupidity.

Hunt him down to the ends of the earth. When I find him, ask him out for coffee, and talk.
Who knows why he ran away? Guys get scared too, and he *could* have a good reason. He'd better have a good reason.
Then, provided they still want to marry, I'd make them wait another three years before sealing the deal.
