constructing a model of the centriole, can be symbolic or literal, any suggestions as to what supplies, objects,products i should use?

You could use pipe cleaners for the spindle fibres, they are flexible and will keep the shape you put them in. Cling wrap for the cell membrane. Buttons or cardboard cut outs for chromosomes and actual centrioles, something light so it won't bend the pipe cleaners.

I think the centrioles look like little macaronis.
