The Palm Tungsten T comes with a pretty good free version of Documents to Go, which will do all those things. Of course you can buy an even fancier version either online or at most office supply stores.

Another good program is QuickWord Suite, I don't think its quite as powerful as Docs to Go, but I've used an older version and it worked just fine. (Powerpoint clone wasn't as good as the D2G version but otherwise still pretty good)

I use the included version of Dos To Go quite a bit, not so much to create new documents but to take them along with me for reference etc.

Personally I find that a pda is to small of an unit to work with microsoft office documents. I have an Ipaq pda which comes with a version of Word, Excel and Powerpoint, but never really use it much.
