to me space is endless n i dont believe in big bang theory..
if a an object exist thn it exists in some space...consider space as object n where does it lies...it goes on...bang theory is partially rht....

Most astronomers would say that the debate is now over. Three reason cause me to believe in the Big Bang, or as i call it the Horrendous Kablooie:
1. First, and most obvious, the universe is expanding, as observed by the so-called 'red-shift' light when looking at distant galaxies, a product of the doppler effect.
2. the theory predicts that 25 percent of the total mass of the universe should be the helium that formed during the first few minutes, an amount that agrees with observations.
3. Finally, and most convincing, is the presence of the cosmic background radiation. The big-bang theory predicted this remnant radiation, which now glows at a temperature just 3 degrees above absolute zero, well before radio astronomers chanced upon it.
We're 10-15 billion years away from the beginning of known existence.....from the singular event known as the horrendous kablooie......
Astronomers are still pondering dark matter, dark energy and the flatness of space-time. Will there be a big crunch or will the galaxies continue to expand. In trillions upon trillions of years, the sky will be filled only by the Milky Way stars, all the galaxies will be too far away or consumed by black holes/darkness....a vast cold, dark and lonely place. Until there's a better theory to fit the observations, i'll go with the Horrendous Kablooie, i'm always open for new evidence.

The existance of the 21 cm cosmic background radiation as well as the mathematical models that predict such a beginning lead me to believe that there was a beginning point to the universe.
As far as the end, this is a hotly debated gray area in cosmology and theoretical physics. The red shift of galaxies as the move away from each other and the lack of a force able to counter such expansion (other than the possibility of dark matter) leads most to believe the universe will expand to a point where the night sky will be devoid of stars.
Until there is a grand unifying theory in theoretical physics, we might never know the true answer.

From the point of view of science, the universe had a beginning in the big bang and will likely have an end.
From a philosophical point of view, you can question what is there before the Big Bang and what will be here after the end.
Personally, I try not to think too hard about it.

Of course the Big Bang occurred. Recent research has revealed that the universe is expanding at an increasing speed. No one knows if or when or how the universe will end. However, scientists are currently attempting to learn the answers to these questions.

I believe in the big bang theory and if the theory is correct then the universe is still expanding. Although a recent discovery has shown that the universe may be an oval shape. Don't know what that's all about. It seams plausibe but I really don't know, neither do the smartest sonsabiches on this planet.
And that doesn't mean God didn't create the big bang because I believe he did.

I believe that the universe had a beginning and an end though we may not live to see that end.I believe that the universe will end with as cataclysmic an end as was its beginning. I do not personally believe in Judgement Day or the Armageddon or anything like that.

though, i am an atheist, some how i could not believe that big bang theory because it failed to answer several questions like who did that big bang. i feel the answer is yet to be given by science.

the thought is going that when the great Bang the textile interior the universe will proceed to unfolded from the epicenter and then it is going to opposite itself and draw itself returned into the place it began.
