Nursing pads. I leaked so bad with my second one that I had to sleep in a bra and nursing pads. And when I was in labor with her and got an epidural, I leaked so much I soaked my gown and the pillow I was leaning over. It was AWFUL!! So, say yes, it's totally normal and start investing in nursing pads now, because it's probably only going to get worse!

It is very common and the best way to deal with the situation would be to use cool compresses and to wear nursing pads, and unless your child can be made to be happy for the next 18 months, that will be an issue.

Hearing a baby cry is a common psychological trigger for lactation.
I don't know of anything that will stem lactation, though.
Also, it is perfectly normal to lactate at 5 months. Matter of fact, you don't actually have to be pregnant or have been pregnant to lactate. Wet nurses use to lactate without having ever been pregnant.

Sounds like you never really dried up after your 2 year old. If this was new milk it would be colostrum. Many women nurse right through a pregnancy. You just have to soak it up and be glad you will have pleanty of milk for the new baby!-)

Yes, it is normal. It happens when your other child cries because the maternal side of you kicks in and it is getting ready to feed a child.

Completely normal. The only thing you can do is put the breast pads there, or try not to lay on your side.

Yes, it is normal. There is nothing you can do besides wear nursing pads to protect yourself and your clothes.
