He has a 3.52 GAA and .878 save percentage heading into Monday's game at Los Angeles (and he's losing 3-0 early in the second). Will he recover or was last year a fluke?

Lundqvist isnt that bad. His defence just isnt that strong. Alot of traffic infront of him isnt helping his situation though. He looked worse last year after the olympics but that more because he made the mistake of changing his pads from non illegal to Illegal for the olympics. Give them a chance.. Kipper is in the same boat and he is probably the best goalie next to Broduer in the league. He just isnt getting the help..

It happens. Look at Huet for the habs, same situation except he might lose his starting position. Tim Thomas for Boston, Jose Theodore for the Avalanche are just to name a few other good goaltenders having problems. It's still early in the season.

no doubt he still has the talent to do what he did last year and recovery is possible, but the sophmore jinx isn't a theory because only happens every once and while. Sometimes rookies get full of themselves and then they loose their intensity in the sophmore season. Be patient with him, he'll come around.

hey these things happen..I think that he just needs to find his groove..in my opinion most of the goals that he gives up are thanks to the defense..they've done nothing this year..but don't worry, Lundqvist will recover later in the year..Also, just look at the New York Yankees..Every April and/or May, they are losing game after game after game..soo it could be a beginning of the year jinx for him and/or it could just be one of those things that are hard to explain..

he was a rookie last year. that happends allot in the NHL with young goalies that have a great first year he will bounce back maybe not this year but he will.

hes a very very good goalie i will give him that..but maybe these just arent his shinging days..whether hell recover idk..but he should get it back within the next month..no worries..just to let u no tho..RANGERS SUCK!!!!!
