I am wondering if it is possible... I use a Belkin wireless card.. wireless is the only internet i can get where i currently live. I am wondering if i can somehow use the ethernet port to connect another peice of hardware to the internet. Such as a playstation 2, and use my PC/Wireless card as the router?

The more defined answer is yes. Its called bridging. Well known in the cisco world. If you have windows XP pro you can enable ICS or internet connection sharing on the wireless port and using a crossover cat 5e cable, Connect it to the device you want to connect and your computer will act as a router.

well, if your computer is Running windows XP and you got a wired eithnet port as well as the wireless card then yes it's possible. you'd also need a cross over cable unless your hookign this up to a router or a hub (using the uplink port)

Go into Network Connections. then find the Wireless network connection Icon, right click and go to properties then to advanced. and check the box for "Share this connection"
then windows will take the other network card and share the wireless connection to what ever is plugged in. not shure off hand how to setup port fowarding though.

you can do this if you use a cross over cable, but it will not work if you use a normal ethernet cable.
