Try to imagine yourself in this man's shoes, being verbally assaulted with hatred and venom on a daily basis at his job. Try to imagine if you did the very best you knew how to do, and STILL, you were despised and hated without reason. How would you feel? How would you be able to function on a daily basis at your job?
How would you feel every time you went out in public, knowing that people despised you and there was nothing you could do to change their minds?
This is awesome - please view!

We should always pray for our leaders and importantly our troops! They fight for our freedom every day.

I looked at it and I thought it was awesome. I agree with you that he is doing the job the best way he can and gets nothing but grief day after day. I find most of the other answers on here very sad. Someday these negative people will actually mature and realize how wrong they have been about GWB. May God Bless our President, our troops and our Country!

Without looking at the link, I will answer your question.
If it were me, I wouldn't care what others thought about me. But if they thought I was doing a poor job at what I was supposed to be doing, then I would get out. If they were responsible for me being in the job I was in, and they were dissatisfied with my job performance, then I would expect to lose my job - just like any other job.

Agreed. I pray for him, because I know not what I would have done facing situations as tough as Katrina and especially 9/11.

I echo volleyballchick and Irish Rose... both great answers.
And I would also add the following:
Keep in mind, as humans we hate and ridicule what we fear... and he is making some scary decisions on some scary issues in our very scary world. Happy Halloween.

"We should always pray for our leaders and importantly our troops! They fight for our freedom every day."
What a strange thing to say. Should the people of Germany have prayed for Hitler and the troops while they were exterminating millions of Jews? Or do you mean that only American leaders and troops are worthy of praying for? You know, the same ones who legalized and then carried out torture of prisoners, sometimes to death.
And as for fighting for your freedom. Last time I checked, your freedoms were being eroded day by day. Can you say "Patriot Act"?

President Bush is a politician. Maybe if he changed his policies many people would not despise him as much.

Yes. 1st, he's our Pres & his success is our success & his failures are our failures. I would rather succeed.
2nd, he has accomplished a lot for this country & is doing his best to accomplish more. Contrary to what Libs/Dems want you to believe, he is on our side.

No.
I wouldn't have started a war against an enemy that wasn't a threat, I wouldn't have trasjed people's civil liberties for a little fake "Safety". I WOULD'VE had a lot more money to help out in the case of a natural disaster.
How can you have sympathy for someone who has sent thousands of our children to DIE in a war that has done little good save meke his friends rich? He's a murderer.
Your thirst for propaganda is more dangerous than alcoholism.

OH, for Pete's sake!! Everyone doesn't hate or despise him!! He needs to LISTEN to AMERICANS, then maybe people wouldn't be so critical of him. I don't HATE him but I don't like the decisions he has made!!
