I don't know about them causing a check engine light but they can mess up some sensors IF YOU OVER OIL THEM! Follow the directions and you won't have a problem.

What do you advise is there a restore for this? YEA DONT DO IT. it rather is the restore. You adult adult males are actually not getting the photograph however the greater you cut back to rubble your engine with after industry crap the greater severe its going to get. on occasion those verify engine lighting fixtures fixtures are completely unfavourable too. And no count what you are able to't get your engine verify easy to pass out. till you have long previous to an emissions classification for vehicle mechanics and surpassed,, you have not got the certainty or the kit on a thank you to specific try your transformations and what must be performed. you will be able to correctly be putting your self up for an high priced rebuild and not additionally recognize it And in some states like CA you will be able to make a stable residing with a smog certificates license the place you may purchase 500 smog certs at a time from the dmv

It is possible if more or less air is coming through the filter. It messes with the MAF sensor. The best way to tell is hook up a code reader and see what is wrong.

it should not. the factory or aftermarket filters are designed with the same purpose, to breath cleaner air and filters out the dust.
to save you $$, you can also check to see if AEM makes filter for your vehicle. AEM recently came out with the re-washable filter.
to purchase, stop by the race shops or automotive stores.
good luck!!
