Help, help, a clue please.
The easiest thing to observe would probably be people.
At the most this would cost you a dollar (oh, or maybe a black eye):
Take a dollar bill. Using a needle and thread, thread the line near the corner of the bill so you can hold onto it. Trick people walking by into thinking they just found a dollar. Tug it away as they try to pick it up. Your observation is about how many people laugh about being tricked, or how many are ticked off, can't take a joke.
I've fallen for this twice in my life, both times I felt dumb for only a couple short seconds. Then I sat down to watch the next fools try to get a free buck!
Or, observe this: how many drops of water does it take to melt a sugarcube? How long does it take a few drops of food color to dissolve in a glass? How many dogs don't respond to those silent dog whistles? Which of three kids can hold their breath the longest?
How would I know what you should observe? Exactly what did the darn teacher say? Hmmm. Observe how many people wholeheartedly try to help you with absolutely NO information from you whatsoever...
