Your criminal background. Drugs, arrest and such. I have to add information here, they do not get employment info here, just criminal background.

It depends the job you apply for. When I interview people for4 positions in finance department I also check over and above the normal stuff, for their CREDIT RECORDS. Other normal stuff includes:

1. Qualifications
2. Work experience
3. Reference from previous supervisors
4. C haracter references
5. Criminal record

etc

They are most likely looking for if you have any issues(mental or physical), if you have ever been arrested, And some jobs you used to do to ask some ex bosses of yours what you used to be like and why you left the job or was fired.

if u have ever been convicted of a felony been in jail....anything along those lines
