I would ask God to straighten me out so that I do the things I really want to do, and so I can pursue the things I think are true and good. Cause I WANT to...but I just don't....

At the top of Maslow's hierarchy is "self-realization." This is the psychological component that can be developed in an individual only after all other needs have been fulfilled. TRULY knowing who you are is potentially the greatest gift any one of us could be given (I say "potentially" because I don't personally believe I'm at that point yet). To be enlightened is to know your identity inside and out, then you will know God resides within you, and every particle of your being will become metaphysically entangled with every other particle in the universe, and KAZAM! Utter peace and happiness! You are a fractal of God! So... the obvious answer here would be to ask God to reveal everyone's identity to themselves -- to plug them into the ultimate framework and assuage the sickness of existential experience... But -- I think this will be done after an individuals death anyway.

make the world a perfect place.. i know this is a lot of things but it is one thing all in all.. making the world perfect..
that includes: ending hunger and all illnesses... making natural resources endless, making everything free (and free to make if you're asking)... demolishing the idea of religion and denouncing all religions wrong... build into the human mind a universal set of morals that humans would use to control themselves in the absence of religious restraints.. change the view of people towards sex, gay marriage, abortion and everything controversial: by that i mean telling us what is really right...
and the list goes on and on...
If you don't accept my answer a one thing.. then my favorite would be abolishing all religions and denouncing them as self-contradictory.. but the thing is that would bring back the world to the medieval ages... with no rules.. everybody killing everybody

What God, Whos God? Many people believe many things to be true. Brainwashing starts at an early stage and is hard to break

I would ask God to give me strength to make any changes in my life that I wish to make. It doesn't matter if I am an habitual drunk, an habitual smoker, an habitual overeater, an habitual verbal abuser, an habitual liar, procrastinator, heart-breaker, or what my weakness is. All I ask from God are the love, self-awareness and the wisdom.

Besides asking for salvation......I would ask God to create a safer world for all of us.......this would include environmental, war issues, terrorism, political conflicts including religion......so what is it that those gals competing for Miss America ask for? Oh yes, world peace!

It would be cool if people's physical outward appearance could match their inner personality and intentions. Then we could spot the bad guys with no trouble.
This would make it easy to eliminate all crime and prevent greedy people from gaining any power.

God, please undo all the things you've done. I didn't want to live in the first place, if You gave me a choice, I would not choose to be born into the world. So much pain and suffering. And could You not create anything else? they all seem to suck, a lot...

I would ask him to cleanse the earth and our beings,(souls, spirits, mind and bodies) of all hate and pollution, so we may live as he intended or start over with a reasonable facsimily.
