i mean, is there an understanding of all the different sides of both the american people and iraqi people? there has to be SOME people in iraq that doesn't hate certain american beliefs, i would love to belive there is peace...

My husband is currently serving in the US Army in Camp Liberty, Baghdad, Iraq. He has very frequent contact with many, many Iraqi citizens. He tells me that every one of these citizens he has met or come in contact with expresses gratitude for our country freeing the Iraqis from Saddam's regime.
Now, on the other hand - my husband also tells me that his unit must constantly deal with and battle Iraqi insurgents who fire upon the Army Base. These insurgents are believed to be the remnants of the above mentioned regime.
From what I understand of what my husband tells me, most of the "common" "everyday" Iraqi people are grateful to the US, and are content to have our soldiers in their midst setting up a new government. The number of these insurgents is very small. I do believe there is the hope of peace.

According to the media, all Iraqis hate Americans and the conflict is impossible to resolve. It should be unlawful to put such crap on tv and in newspapers and have the uneducated masses believe it.
The truth is, most Iraqis are grateful that America has given them freedom. Proof lies within the thousands of Iraqis who have fought and died for the new democratic government.
I heard a great story today on the radio. It told of the governor in Iraq who had experienced 30 assasination attempts. Everyday his house would be attacked with bombs and gunfire. His 13 year old son was kidnapped by insurgents, and his family terrorized. Yet he still went to work everyday. I would love to believe there is peace too.
I´m not from Iraq, but i understand the Iraq people(they lost millions of life's in stupid war).
Why the Iraq only hate the USA(they don´t hate Brazil, Russia,India, Portugal,German.etc), it is simple:because the USA invaded the country of them.
I have nothing against USA people, But i hate the Bush club and i feel sorry of people who Die because of Bush stupids ideas.
The Bush club is the source of the anger Between Iraq peolple and USA.
América diserves someone better than this actual fanatic lider

Yes, there are some people in the middle east, and Iraq, who don't hate Americans. In fact, I would say only the radical Muslims actually hate Americans. Lots of Americans donate food, money, and clothes to people in the Middle East, and I know of at least one University in the surrounding area that is almost completely paid for by Americans. Sure, there are those who couldn't care less, but I know a lot of people over there would be in dire straights if America suddenly ceased to exist.

Haha no im iraqi and i live in iraq i dont hate Americans at all they are so kind and even tho im Iraqi, i can't explain how ashamed i am. Like **** this i want to move from here

The Iraqis incited by their religious leaders not only hate
the Americans but the rest of the world, and they would

the newscasts keep showing us Bagdad and where the fighting is. I was surprised to hear that that's where the worst fighting is...but that many other cities there are not having the fighting, and in those not fighting places the Iraqi's love for America, Americans and Democracy are high.

well i would say that every one hates a murderur
and it is a wrong way to bring peace because more you kill the chances of you being killed and so on and so on
it will never stop it is obivious that America went to Iraq for OIL
and started killing for it .
IF they wanted to bring Saddam Hussain(A murderur) to Justice then they could simply assasinate him instead of killing a 3,000,000 muslims to get to one person
you figure it out your self who want peace and who does not
NO Offence to all but American are doing what British ,Germans, Mongolions, and Russians Did i.e. Kill to gain power !!
