Galena (PbS) sometimes contains silver as AgS. Pyroxene is really a group of minerals, and as such, a lot of substitution takes place. Halite is NaCl, and very littly substitution is possible, although there are associated minerals such as KCl. Quartz is so darned stable that replacements are rarely encountered.
