that's a tough one....and i think they each rely on each other. If you have an awesome o-line with a sucky QB you won't go anywhere...if you have an awesome o-line with an alright QB you'll do pretty good.....if you have an awesome QB with a sucky o-line you won't do anything, if you have an awesome QB with an alright o-line you'll do pretty good....

I agree with Jordan G though

A good offensive line.

Coaches and coordinators can call the plays, and if the offensive line is great, a quarterback that is just average will be able to throw the ball with all the time in the world in the pocket. The great quarterbacks are the ones that can step back and throw in a matter of seconds and see the entire field in that time due to a poor offensive line.

A good offensive line, take from this year, the Broncos, and the Cardinals, Jake Plummer, and Leinart... they are both good quaterbacks but have no possibility of doing very good because of the horrific lineman... even notice how shitty edgerrin james is this year because the linemen cant block enough for him... Even the Seahawks went from the MVP runing game to one of the worse, and it could be cause alexander is havin an off year, could be the madden curse, but its mostly because they lossed steve hutchinson and cant rely on the left side of the line every game... now look at the bears where there line is just studding up and grossman who has talent but isnt really THAT GOOD, is doing amazing.... i mean ya a good QB is good but cant win u all the games like a solid Offensive Line could... best example is the TEXANS CARR is by far the best QB but since the line gets him and the RB killed every game there horrible!!! raiders, line horrible cant do anything, its just no question a power OL is better than a good QB

QB is more important. An O-Line does have 5 guys but the QB decides where the ball goes. He has to give a good hand off to running back. He has to be able to throw deep or know when to run. The O-Line just blocks and makes holes.

a good offensive line because that will open up the run game and make any quarterback good because of the play action

unless the quarterback is a scrambling qb then it doesnt matter because he will be able to buy time

but overall the offensive line is more important so that you can get the run game started

Offensive line. It makes the QB's job easier, but also the RB's job. Not saying you don't need a good QB, just that a strong oline can make average players look pretty good, but a great QB struggles to do much behind a poor oline...

A quarterback isn't worth a dime without a good offensive line. Everybody raves about how good Tom Brady is, and deservedly so, but his line gives him a ton of time all the time.

No matter how good the quarterback may be, he is not going to be able to do anything, unless there is a good line, up front, to protect him. Without a good line, the other team will cream his butt somewhere in the backfield.

Don't ever discount your defensive team either. If they don't perform well, the other team will bury your in points.

The QB is the backbone of the O. line. If he can't make the plays happen then the rest is a useless effort.

The offensive line play is crirical to an offense's abilty to move the ball. I choose a good front line over a great qb.

I reckon most quarter backs are pretty much the same. They pass the ball but at the end of the day they have to rely on their offensive line.
