When that happens, we won't need to ask.

The planet will be fine. The question is if life on the planet - most notably human life - will be fine.
As of right now, I believe we have a chance to avert a catastrophy. However, if the anti-science folks on this site are a representative sample (and let's pray they're not), then it might as well be too late, because we're not going to change.
The great tragedy, of course, is that it will be the poor countries who suffer the most.
I predict that in the next fifty years we'll be hearing reports of deaths in the Far East numbering in the hundreds of millions. Maybe billions.
There is hope though, and to act any other way is simply wrong.

The planet will never rejuvinate itself unless man steps in and stops the corruption, pollution, etc. We're slowly killing ourselves and this planet ourselves by things we do everyday.

I sincerely hope not, but the ex-head of the world bank has just put all governments on notice that they need to step up to the plate. He recommends that all developed countries should spend at least 1% of their GDP on renewable energy solutions. If we all believe we can save the planet, we probably can. As a parent, I pray that we can.

No doubt 'The Planet' will be fine. We human beings (and some of our fellow flora and fauna interlopers) may be going to hell in a handbasket. But such is the circle of life, one organism's loss is another's gain. See dinosaurs and Cretaceus era for further reference.

I don't think so, but I do think we will never get rid of the multinational control over nations in time.. 20 or 30 years from now, ask the same question and I will probably say yes.

Our planet is in good shape. Some of the people, on the other hand, are beyond hope. These people call themselves Liberal, Progressive or Leftist.

Most credible Environmental Scientists say we have a ten year window .After this we are stuck with the impact of what we have done , and most agree fossil fuels are a main corrupter.

Or perhaps it is just donig just that, getting rid of people that is destroying it. Many beleive that the planet may be going though natural cycles like the ice age to clean up its own problems
