Im not sure why but it seems that people in the South are more with the respect trait, and people in the north dont have it. its this something that ya'll see too? or is it just me?

I don't think it has anything to do with the north or south...east or west.
Its a sign of the times.
Nowadays, both parents work. Children are raised by television & computers. People are always in a hurry, in a rush. Pressure & stresses. No one wants to take the time to show manners or respect.

Now, you know you set yourself up for the two geniuses who wracked their brains to come up with the incest slurs, which is really offensive to us Southerners, cause hell, it's not like we haven't heard that one but about 1 billion times!!!LOL Not everyone you meet in the South is friendly and hospitable, and not everyone you meet in the North is rude and obnoxious. It just seems that way. Southerners have a slower, laid back attitude toward life, we take time to get to know our neighbors and in smaller towns we are not in such a hurry to get things done. We like to sit on a porch in the cool of the evening with a glass of tea and some good conversation. It's just a different lifestyle.

I guess it depends where in the south and north you are talking about. I live in North Carolina and people are just flat out rude. I use to live in Colorado people were not so rude. I think it depends on the state and where in the state you are.

I live in the Northeast and I see this all the time. Most Northeasterners don't seem to have their act together nowadays. Sorry to have to say this, but it's true.
