I do. Sometimes I'll hear a word and I'll start singing a song with that word in it.
For example, the word "buns" might bring on "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-A-Lot; "My anaconda don't want none unless you've got buns, hun"
FYI: I know I am crazy. I just want to see if there are others like me.

I have tried for years to get out of the habit, but I can't help it!
I really don't intend to do it, it just pops out. I love to make ppl laugh, so I think that has a lot to do with it.

My boss's daughter used to do that! Someone once told the child she could sing. They were deluded, and so was she. She'd break into song at any opportunity (it was the only way she could get in...) She did come by it honestly: her grandma will stand around going lalalala until you go 'ummm' or something and get her attention then it's like she didn't know she did it! The child's mom (the bosslady) is now doing that too.
Personally, I can't sing worth a flip, but I love to. Usually do it in the car with the windows up so as not to hurt anyone else! I used to play a game with my brother: say a word, I'll sing a song (had to be a real song) to go with it! Drove the parents nuts, of course. Worst of all, to me, is that song that's stuck in your head, and you only know part of it, so it keeps going round and round and round...'tie a yellow ribbon...tie a yellow ribbon..tie a yellow ribbon AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!'

YES! Thanks for giving the condition a name! I find myself singing, humming or whistling all the time without realizing it. When I do notice, I realize I'm singing something related to what someone said or I'm singing the song that was on the radio when I woke up in the morning.... I can't seem to keep quiet!

I do it ALL of the time. I like that term, "Musical Tourettes." I have a quite a few friends who have it, too, so you aren't hardly alone. :)
