I'm just guessing here, but since it's a big V-Twin it's probably just as good as H-D's. The V-Twin's have come a long way from the leakers that they were that required a top end job about every 30,000 miles and a lower after about 60,000.

Better materials, better technology, newer designs, etc. I was so impressed by the performance of the H-D TC-88 that I now use one as my daily commuter bike! (I don't own a car.) I did stick to the old XL1200C's since they were a bit more simple, but the reliability of my new piggie is fantastic!

As long as you remember that a bike is a bit more maintenance intensive than a car, and do the maintenance when you are supposed to (Or let a trained tech do it!) the bike will be like the "pink bunny" compared to the older models.

Good luck if you decide to get a Victory. I was actually thinking about one when I got my FX, but all my stuff says "H-D" on it. I could not afford the bike, and the wardrobe change at the same time.

I ride on the weekends with a "loose" group of people. Not a club, just people who like to ride. One of the guys has a "Vic". Has no complaints at all except a bit of trouble finding some small aftermarket stuff he would like to have. Most definitely not an engine complaint!
