Please check if you have any software conflicts. Run a diagnostic program to see if you have any problems. Sometimes, it's just a matte of having too much junk in your memory. Clearing your online memory can help.

If you are trying to download a file then you can get an error with explorer.exe go to my documents >> tools >>folder options >>view>>Lauche folder windows...make sure it is checked (while you are at it make sure that "hide extension of known..." is unchecked). See what happens now...It should get an error but not restart.
