0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

The system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver (one that uses improper addresses). It can also be caused by faulty or mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile.

Everytime I plug in a certain device, it goes into a blue screen saying page default thing. And then when I restart, the sound drivers sometimes go bad too.

I've had the same thing happen on a computer that I built. It didn't like a Lite-On 16X DVD burner. Kept going to blue screen. I replaced the drive with a 12X DVD Lite-On and everything was okay. I recently had to send the mobo back to Gigabyte for repairs, when it came back I mounted another new Lite-On 16X DVD burner in it and it is working fine now also. My 1 GB of RAM was matched. Two 512Mb sticks of Kingston ValueRam. It could be your "southbridge" chip on the mobo is flaky or ready to crap out. Since your having more than one problem going on here. The mobo will have to be RMAed to the manufacturer for repairs or have to be replaced. Either way you'll have to reactivate WinXP.
